"After 20 years in insurance, I have followed my passion and started my private practice as a life coach and mindfulness teacher for adults and children. I am also a Chakradance Facilitator, Reiki Healer, EFT Practitioner, and Master NLP Practitioner. I work on a 1-1 basis and also in group settings. Two years ago, I was awarded the Inspirational Woman of the Year by the Global Woman Club in London. One of my intentions is to spread the gentle power of mindfulness with children on a higher level. I am also passionate about women's empowerment and the power of self-love that can transform our lives." 

Profession: Fashion designer

"Started to work in the film industry in 2004, then after finishing an Art and Design School, founded my own fashion brand, GABE. Relocated to Malta in 2016 and continued to work on movies in the costume department. In 2021, I opened my own sustainable fashion studio in Attard and since then I work both in movies and in my studio, providing bespoke services and offering my sustainable fashion items to my clients. I wish to inspire women and help them feel better about themselves by helping them with styling advice."

Profession: Founder of BeChocolateAndMore

"I have a rich background in hospitality across France, Switzerland, and Luxembourg. She has brought her passion for premium, ethically sourced chocolate to Malta, offering the island's first organic, bean-to-bar chocolate without additives, preservatives, or palm oil. Her unique insight into the chocolate-making process, gained from living in Panama, has led her to partner with top Belgian chocolatiers to curate a collection of high-quality, single-origin chocolates, providing an exceptional tasting experience in Malta. Isabelle is soon opening the Crazy Deluxe Cafe, where she will offer chocolate tastings comparable to wine tastings, allowing customers to explore the diverse flavours of single-origin chocolates. Additionally, chocolate pairings will be available to showcase its versatility with food and drink. BeChocolateAndMore will also host workshops throughout the year to educate chocolate lovers on the art of chocolate-making, with special visits from Belgian chocolatiers twice a year to enhance the experience. Isabelle's vision for Crazy Deluxe Cafe is to create a space where chocolate craftsmanship and passion meet, focusing on quality, sustainability, and education."

Profession: Operation Manager

"I'm the Operations Manager at the Mental Health Association and a passionate advocate in the disability sector. In addition to my professional role, I serve as the Executive Secretary of the National Parents Society of Persons with Disabilities and ADHD Malta. My ambition to help others is deeply rooted in my journey as a mother of two children with disabilities and as a woman with ADHD who has faced numerous setbacks. These experiences have strengthened my belief in the importance of women supporting one another. I'm excited to share my journey, insights, and experiences."

Profession: Manager [Policy, Research and Harm Reduction] 

"Born in 1987, Karen Mamo holds a Master of Arts and a Master of Science in Mediterranean Security and Conflict Resolution and an Honours degree in Italian Language and Literature. In 2023, she graduated with a Master of Science in Addiction Studies. Karen has worked as a research analyst with the House of Representatives of Malta and as a Diplomatic Officer with the Office of the President of Malta. Presently, she works as the Policy, Research and Harm Reduction Manager with the Authority for the Responsible Use of Cannabis.
 

In 2019, she set up the first Maltese social media page about harm reduction (Harm Reduction Malta). Since then, she has been active in raising awareness about the importance of dialogue and a more inclusive approach to promoting the health and well-being of people who use drugs."

Profession: Tourist Guide

I organise cultural and educational activities for locals, ex-pats, tourists, children, and teenagers. I also introduced mystery and history walks. Some know them as Ghost Walks but are not necessarily related to the paranormal; they can be considered Dark History.

I also work at Esplora Science Centre, enhancing the visitor experience and anything to do with fostering hospitality around the former Royal Naval Hospital of Bighi in Kalkara.

"I have around 15 years of experience as a laboratory technician in Pathology in a hospital; I am open-minded and like to meet new people to listen to their life experiences and share my experience (for now, I am a bit shy about doing it). One day, I would like to open a coffee shop to make a safe place for our moment stories. Also, coaching is something that I like; the healing process is something where I see myself."

"I am a pharmacist and state-registered nutritionist from Malta, deeply passionate about the impact of food on our physical health, mental well-being, and overall enjoyment of life. I started Mel's Food Pharmacy, a Facebook page dedicated to sharing my expertise. After completing a Master's in applied culinary nutrition, my ambition is to continue sharing this knowledge to promote better nutrition and help prevent chronic diseases."
